Casio unveiled its G-shock smartwatch on Thursday. Surprisingly, the launch becomes surreal due to the addition of the WearOS platform in Casio’s watches. The GSW-H1000, part of the rugged G-squad line of watches has an optical sensor to measure heart rates. The new edition of Casio also comes up with an accelerometer, gyro meter, GPS to measure altitude and air pressure. The intriguing component that makes the smartwatch a must carrier is the addition of Google’s WearOS Technology.
“This powerful hardware profile enables the watch to capture the data on distance, speed, and pace which is so useful for people doing physical training,” the release said. The release also noted that the watch comes preloaded with 15 activities and 24 indoor workout options. The compatibility with the smartphone has gazed more enthusiasts towards Casio’s G-shock smartwatch. It can get paired with the G-Shock Move smartphone app.
The company imminently did not further comment on the availability of the WearOS supported device in the other markets. Casio looks to inspire thousands of millions of health enthusiasts across the United States to big-ticket the smartwatch for maintaining a nutritious and healthy lifestyle.
